Exterior highlights on the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser include LED daytime running lights, front-bumper integrated LED fog lights, 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, and LED and light-tube taillights with vortex generators. Inside, the new Land Cruiser sports 8-passenger seating with perforated semi-aniline leather-trimmed seating surfaces, multi-stage heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat featuring three-position memory, and a 40/20/40 split sliding, reclining, folding, tumble, and multi-stage heated second-row seat.

Tech-wise, the new Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a 9-inch high-resolution multimedia touch-screen with split-screen capability and an integrated backup camera display. This system has 14 JBL speakers, including a subwoofer, and connects to SiriusXM Satellite Radio and Bluetooth devices. On the safety side, the Land Cruiser comes with Toyota's Safety Sense P - Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert, Auto High Beams, and a Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

The 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 5.7-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 with Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). This engine is good for 381 horsepower and 401 lb.ft. of torque and achieves an estimated 18 mpg highway and 13 city. Connected to this engine is a full-time 4WD system with Active Traction Control and Torsen limited-slip center differential sporting a locking feature.
